Audi Brussels is a production site located at the heart of Europe and part of the Audi Group. We started to produce the A1 in 2010. As of 2018, Audi Brussels is the very first Audi-site to produce an all-electric car, the Audi e-tron, but also its high voltage battery.

The IT Services department consists of a large team of internal and external employees and is responsible for IT services such as laptops, telephone, data storage, servers and their support (Helpdesk). As the IT Shopfloor Community Project Engineer, you are the first point of contact for the IT colleagues in production. Together and in consultation with the German colleagues, you will look for solutions to daily problems.

Function

  • You are the contact person for your IT colleagues in the various technical and production departments and organize the IT Shopfloor Community for them.
  • You analyze the needs of the production in terms of knowledge and technology and organize the necessary measures.
  • You support and advise the production colleagues in their daily IT problems to find safe solutions.
  • You are responsible for certain IT services in production.
  • You actively look for possibilities to improve the IT services in production and to organize them more efficiently.
  • You work on a project basis.

Profile

  • You have a Master degree (or equivalent through experience) with a passion for IT (such as Windows configuration, networks) and IT security (vulnerability scanning, Active Directory, ...).
  • You have good communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
  • You work proactively and independently and like to take the initiative to try innovative solutions.
  • You are able to see the big picture of complex connections and propose solutions to problems in a structured way.
  • You speak English and are fluent in French and/or Dutch. Knowledge of German is an asset.
