Maintenance Technician - Electricity

Audi Brussels is a production site located at the heart of Europe and part of the Audi Group. We started to produce the A1 in 2010. As of 2018, Audi Brussels is the very first Audi-site to produce an all-electric car, the Audi e-tron, but also its high voltage battery.

The bodywork department is responsible for the assembly of the complete body in accordance with strict criteria regarding geometry, welding quality and surface quality. This is achieved by motivated employees who have at their disposal the most modern production techniques and manufacturing processes. As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for the technical support of the production. As an electrician, you are responsible for all electrical components in your area. Shift work, overnights, closures and overtime are part of the job, giving you flexibility in your work-life balance.

Function

  • You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of the production facilities in the areas of electricity, robots, automation and transport technology.
  • After analysis, you propose improvements to increase the reliability of components and installations.
  • You will work as an electrician in a team, together with other maintenance technicians specialising in other areas.
  • Learning by doing is central, you use your free time to specialise in the technologies around you.
  • You prepare concise technical reports in order to ensure the transfer of information from one team to another.
  • You are trained in the various state-of-the-art technologies in Belgium and abroad.

Profile

  • You have a technical secondary school diploma in electromechanics or electrical automation.
  • You have knowledge in the field of automation using PLC control, low voltage and relay technology.
  • You are able to keep a cool head in a production environment to implement your interventions in an efficient and safe manner.
  • You have an analytical and structured approach to solving complex problems.
  • You have a good knowledge of French or Dutch, German and English are an advantage.
